Seminar Overview
In order to help you select the best opportunity to learn and grow with me, let's distinguish between my workshops and my seminars. The workshops are primarily designed to participate with your entire office Team. Even though we may cover some technical issues they will always be appropriate and interesting for the Team member also. However, it has been a consistent observation, whenever we want change and growth, we all need to learn and study together as a Team. Thus the emphases on having each and every member attend these highly interactive Team Workshops. These are almost always a full day, but can be divided in half for groups who want to leave a half a day with the doctors alone.
The Seminars are especially structured for dentists, technicians and all specialists. The topics can be far ranging but almost always have elements from the world of Occlusion, Esthetics and Treatment Planning. Those happen to describe my own passion in dentistry. Both large audience groups as well as small intimate settings can be arranged. In every topic covered I like to make sure that the scientific evidence, when available is quoted. Also clear rational technical steps are always presented along with documented extensive longevity type cases. Perhaps most important to you is that you will also hear how I have been able to present analogies to patients that help their understanding of their own condition and help them make positive health decisions.
Lastly, to round out the balance in my approach to learning as well as life, we can also offer Red Sky Dental Seminars. These combine both technical and behavioral issues with the most beautiful venues and fly fishing. The seminars are held either in the morning, evening or mid day. Thus the prime fishing times are reserved for the best fishing opportunities. As you may have guessed, the name comes from the old but consistently true mariner observations, "Red Sky at Night, Sailors delight; but Red Sky in Morning, Sailors take Warning!" I also have found many excellent dentists who have a passion for fly fishing. Somehow the talents needed for each seem to promote excellence in both.
